Dive deep into the anatomy of breath, its function and capacity to power up our practice. Pranayama is a conscious breath regulation exercise practised in the ancient tradition of Yoga. It is used to harness the life force that accompanies it.
In this practice, you will get to understand the science behind the practice, as well as feel the effects of the practice on your body and energy. You will also learn how to transform your breath through different techniques, expand your lung capacity to truly harness the power of breath to move you deeper into your mindfulness practice.
• Understand the basics of the yogic philosophy behind pranayama; the science behind the breath
• Practice the integration of pranayama within a complete asana series, followed meditation & relaxation
